Tiny shops, hidden getaways and unique stories seem to be around every corner – that has been our experience in Peterborough and the Kawarthas.
Being involved in the development and promotion of tourism within a region is eyeopening on many levels. Tiny shops, hidden getaways and unique stories seem to be around every corner – that has been our experience in Peterborough and the Kawarthas. It’s been through meeting small business operators and hearing their stories that the magical draw to the region can be felt – and in so doing, finding that spark to share the magic with others. Working with Page Creative facilitating the production of a series of film-like videos which accompanied it’s 2013 Tourism Guide was part of this magic. Participating in the development and production of the Guide allowed for a greater understanding of the power ‘experiences’ have in motivating others.
