REGIONAL TOURISM

LIKELY SCENARIO CAMPAIGN

The reality of any creative endeavor is that not everything produced sees the light of day. Working with Page Creative on two campaigns for Regional Tourism Organization 8 was an example of this. The campaigns were developed with first stage production accompaniment.

The first, a Staycation effort (‘Local Favourites’) paired key influencers within the social digital space, with their favourite ________ (pub, cafe, shop, etc) in the region. Delivery was through short video with an accompanying SEO friendly blog-post. The goal being engagement of stakeholders with influencers, while creating a growing hub of the ‘bests’ of the region.

The second campaign (‘Likely Scenario’) built upon the first, in that key stakeholders within the region’s ‘bests’ rallied together to create a single weekend getaway package to give away. In this way, a resort, winery and chocolatier would create a more unified impression on a visitor – and, do so in a ‘local’ way.
